The House

This cozy family home in Bolinas is an ideal retreat for the entire family, with ample outdoor space that makes this a fun and adventurous spot for kids of all ages. The Treehouse cabin has a magical play space for children that also has a view of the Pacific Ocean. They will love getting their hands dirty in the garden or taking a short ride down to the beach to dig in sand, collecting seashells, and splashing around in the ocean.  As you enter the bright house, the light-filled living room welcomes guests with ample comfortable seating and plenty of dining space, ideal for entertaining. The kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for the whole family, and there is a stone grill outside near the garden to barbecue or simply enjoy an evening by the fireside . The master bedroom has an adjacent sun room that is great for relaxation, meditation, and yoga. The kids’ bedroom is equipped with a set of twin bunk beds and a crib and is filled with toys and plenty of space to play. Also on the main level, there is a master bathroom with a large stone bathtub and shower. There is an additional bedroom upstairs that has sweeping views of the property and is equipped with an en suite bathroom. Detached from the main house and just steps away, there is in-law suite which features a charming living room and bathroom. Note that the property comfortably sleeps up 6-8 adults plus 2 children and 2 babies.

The Property

The peek-a-boo ocean view property sits on a fenced off half acre lot filled with nature. It is a natural wonderland with a vegetable garden and olive tree grove as well as old-growth apple trees. Centrally located, it is within walking distance of captivating tide pools, the sandy surf destination beach, and family friendly downtown Bolinas where you'll find charming small shops, farmers markets, restaurants, and cafés. It is only a short drive to the Muir Woods where you can find towering old-growth redwood trees.
